Tender Hooks
Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt is a professionalization programme for female* visual artists. Since 2016, we have been designing the identity for their annual graduate exhibition in close cooperation with the artists.
The Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt presents their yearly exhibition under the title “Tender Hooks” at the Kommunale Galerie Berlin-Wilmersdorf. 15 female artists with 15 differing perspectives reflect on identity and utopia, cultures of remembrance, gender roles and historiography, along with questioning the construction of realities and pictorial worlds. The contradiction embedded in the title of the exhibition envolves these perspectives and played a big role in the development of the exhibition’s identity. The visual language is confident, bold, and yet clean and looks at the same time for room to play with colour and typography.
