Utopia – Keep on moving
At the invitation of Academy President Jeanine Meerapfel, the Academy’s artistic sections have developed a program that deals with historical and contemporary utopias for imagining better futures. We designed all the media for the exhibition and event series.
The five-week event and exhibition program Utopia – Keep on moving explores the nature of political, social and artistic utopias. The utopian is rediscovered in the gaps and open spaces, in the marginalized, in the forgotten. Art itself creates utopian spaces.
This is also reflected in the design – the strong inclusion of space creates new forms and free spaces.
